Introducing Peggy’s Park!
The finishing touches are still being installed at "Peggy's Park," the dog park at the edge of Point Hope's Hopewell neighborhood, but resident canines are already enjoying our community's newest amenity.
Named after Peggy Guggenheim, the niece of Solomon Guggenheim, Peggy's Park is located adjacent to the Hopewell mail kiosk. Peggy was well known as an avid art collector, but she was also a dog enthusiast who lived out her days with 14 Lhasa Apsos in Venice, Italy, and was frequently photographed with them throughout the historic city.
We are excited about this new addition to Point Hope! Please be mindful of the following rules and regulations that have been established for Peggy's Park and help us respect and preserve the area's natural beauty by picking up after your pets!
