POA Operations
The Point Hope Property Owners’ Association serves on behalf of the community and its residents to ensure that the unique, original vision and plan for Point Hope is maintained as development continues, and to protect property values for all stakeholders. Municipal services at Point Hope are provided by the City of Charleston and Berkeley County. Read further for details, or click here for a helpful contact list.

Ongoing maintenance of common areas, parks, trails, ponds, lakes and other amenities
Enforcement of deed restrictions and community covenants
Administration of the design, use and architectural review process

Covenants are non-governmental legal restrictions that apply to land and landowners.

Annual Assessments
Annual assessments are due by March 1st. Per the POA’s CC&Rs, payments received after the due date may incur a late fee set forth by the Board at 1.5% per month.
