Clements Ferry Road Construction Update

Within the next couple of weeks the road widening construction activities on Clements Ferry Road will be moving towards the entrance to Point Hope. This phase of construction will require crews to remove the existing curbing, landscaping and light poles around the area of Refuel and the Point Hope Parkway intersection so that they can install storm drains. 

The crews will be using traffic control assistance to help manage traffic flow. Once the work is complete, they will re-pour the entrance curb and connect the new sidewalk to the existing sidewalk. This is the only portion of the road widening construction in our area that is expected to directly affect traffic flow and we've been assured the crews are managing the project so that there is minimal disturbance.
