What Is the Cainhoy Town Association?

Residents at Point Hope will occasionally see correspondence from or references to “Cainhoy Town Association” (CTA). This is the legal name of the governing body for all owners within the 9,000 acre property known as “Cainhoy,” including the residential and commercial property owners here at Point Hope.

Point Hope, identified as the 2,000 acres south of Clements Ferry Road where development is currently occurring, is the first community within the Cainhoy property. Point Hope will grow as development and permitting progresses.

Fun Fact: Harry Frank Guggenheim assembled his “Cain Hoy” retreat in the 1930s as a beloved family gathering place. Although the entire corridor along Clements Ferry Road is now referred to as "the Cainhoy peninsula," the original Cainhoy property where our growing community is located only encompasses a portion of this area.
